Have a Canasta Basica party:
("Basic basket" in Spanish) You and a group of friends or family can get together and assemble a package of basic food needs to be distributed at our Resource Center. Click here for more info: http://www.missionadelante.
Volunteer:
Mission Adelante has many different areas to serve from weekly to "as-needed" commitment levels; helping immigrants learn English (no Spanish or Nepali required), having fun with kids, disciple-making, helping out the Resource Center, providing a meal, tutoring kids, and more! Give Financially:
We are responsible for raising our entire salary and are in need of monthly commitments or one time gifts to support our work here in Kansas City, Kansas. All support goes through Mission Adelante. We enjoy sharing our calling within this community and are on a track to get fully funded in order to be fully present for what God is doing to us and through us.
Pray:
We need your prayers for the challenges the teens in Teens Adelante face; pressure to join gangs, separated families and heavy household responsibilities at a young age, lack of hope for education after high school. We would also appreciate prayer for the many challenges of a 24/7 mission field lifestyle and learning how to do ministry as a married couple.
